Chihuahua painting and British bulldog

Just had an urge to do a painting of a Chihuahua this weekend. I call it "Slugs and Snails" because without thinking about the design I just did some squiggles and swirls. After looking at it, they look like slugs and snails and we have the puppy dog tail to boot. It was a project to release some stress so I had no idea where this painting would go. I am now working on a British bulldog with a British flag to commemorate the Olympics 2012.

Working on Saturdays Child. I only have two left to do and I can get them made into greeting cards. Like the way this one is coming along so far but needs lots of work still.

I am calling this one my Elf Santa but every time I look at him I see Jaws, lol. Looks as if Santa has been swallowed by a large red Shark.

I can't get my music to play, arrrrh!!!. If you had the same problem and fixed it please help me out. I can't get along without my music.

Halloween Witch Painting -Pale Moon On The Rise-

Pale moon on the rise

I enjoyed the beautiful So Cal weather this weekend and sat and did a painting on a vintage page from an old dictionary. I love the moon, it's what I see when I look at the moon. Is it just me or do you see the same thing. I see a sad looking young boy. My husband said he doesn't see anything resembling a face. He is colorblind and I wonder if that is the reason he doesn't see anything?

Add kicking in again

I was getting ready to do another day of the week sketch and before I knew it I was drawing a Santa. As I am ADD and a Pisces I just go where the tides take me.

French Chef new for 2012

I am supposed to be finishing up my seven days of the week drawings but this guy was fighting to get out. So here he is my very first Chef drawing. I will be putting him on my Etsy soon. I always say that and never get around to it but when I am in my sketching mode I don't do anything else. I go into manic sketching and then it goes away for a while, that's when I get it out there for sale.

Hand painted Tee-shirt for Grandaughter

This is the first time I have painted on a shirt. I have been wanting to do this for years but never got around to it. So far I am satisfied with how its going. I just used a regular pencil to draw freehand, I only hope I can get the pencil lines off when I am done. I am going to make a tote to go with the shirt and fill it full of goodies. Shay just turned five and her favorite thing to do is draw and colour. I think we have a budding artist.

I am trying to change my blog but having the hardest time with it. I am hopeless at this. Fingers crossed.

Happy New Year

It's a bit late I know but happy new year to you all. I hope and pray this year will be good for us all. I am moving into some new adventures this year. I am going to be selling at our local farmers market and I am very excited about it. Never done anything like this before. I am going to be working on my booth. Lots of I am's in this post. Anyway I will post photo's along the way.

Witch paper dolly

I was playing around today in my studio and I drew a picture of one of my dolls. I made a little paper cutout and added some glitter. My wheels are turning now. I think I am going to do some more of my other dolls.

Father Christmas

I have been painting up a storm. I suddenly got into the Christmas mode. I usually have a hard time switching from Halloween to Christmas. I just love all those yummy colours of fall. I opened a Zazzle store this weekend and will be adding some graphics there soon. This is just a sample of what I have been doing this weekend.

Halloween Humpty Pumpkin

Just a few final touches and it will be done. Took a long time to get this puppy done, I started painting it nearly two years ago or more and it sat there waiting to have a theme but I couldn't seem to get back to it. I decided that this is going to be done by the end of the year and then the idea of Halloween came to mind and then I really had to get on it. Anyway it is 99.9 percent done and it will go on eBay soon.

Almost done, just the finishing touches to do. They were suposed to be two separate pieces but the large one kept falling forward and the little one kept falling backward. I just grabbed the little one to use as a prop and voilà!

they became co-dependant on each other, so they are BFFS now. How can I separate them lol.

Auntie Awful's sister Hazel

This is the second watercolor that I have been working on. I will have three sisters in all. The mean one Auntie Awful, the "pretty one" Hazel and the slightly insane one Marge. I will be making ACEO cards of these three plus some greeting cards. My wheels are still spinning so there maybe other things as well later on.
